Uptime

he Uptime Monitoring dashboard under the Monitoring section of Varsuite Core provides a visual and data-driven overview of your website’s availability and performance across every key connection metri

Uptime Summary Panel

At the top of the page, you’ll see a visual summary showing:

  • Uptime Today – e.g. 100%

  • Uptime Yesterday

  • Uptime by Date (past 7 days)

  • Rolling 7-Day Average

  • 12-Month Uptime Score

Each data point is colour-coded and timestamped to help you track performance trends over time. For example:

99.99% on 13/06/2025

99.6% on 11/06/2025

This makes it easy to spot days where downtime may have occurred and investigate further.

All Downtime Periods

The main table provides a log of every recorded downtime incident. Each row includes:

  • Start Time – When the downtime began

  • End Time – When service was restored

  • Duration – How long the site was unreachable

  • Actions – Option to Delete the record (e.g. if it was false-positive or scheduled maintenance)

These entries are useful for identifying patterns whether it’s a one-off outage or recurring issue tied to server performance, traffic spikes, or failed deployments.

Uptime Calculation Explained

Varsuite Core continuously checks your website’s availability from multiple global endpoints. Uptime is calculated based on successful HTTP 200 responses over time. If a check fails repeatedly or for a sustained period, the system logs it as downtime.

Example: If your site was offline for 5 minutes out of a 24-hour period, that equals roughly 99.965% uptime.

Reporting & Transparency

Use uptime data for:

  • Monthly client reports

  • SLA validation

  • Hosting provider accountability

  • Benchmarking during migrations or optimisation work

This level of granularity helps agencies show value and gives clients confidence in their site’s performance.

Don’t Forget: Use Alerts

Enable Alert Rules to get notified immediately when:

  • Your site goes offline

  • Uptime dips below a threshold (e.g. 99.5%)

  • An outage exceeds a certain duration

Find this under Monitoring > Alert Rules.

With Varsuite Core’s Uptime Monitoring, you can stop guessing and start proving your site’s reliability—backed by data, tracked in real time and exportable for any report or review.
