Active Alerts

The Alerts panel in Varsuite Core provides real-time visibility into problems, warnings and informational events across all of your connected websites.

These alerts require immediate attention to restore full functionality or security.

High Alerts

These alerts should be resolved as soon as possible to avoid issues or missed updates.

Type
Description

DNS Issues

A DNS misconfiguration has been detected

Cert Expiry

Your certificate is about to expire soon

These alerts don't immediately break functionality but can impact performance, security or access if ignored.

Low Alerts

Low alerts are non-urgent, but should be reviewed periodically.

Type
Description

Sitemap Issues

One or more sitemap issues have been detected

Lighthouse Score

Lighthouse performance score has decreased

Mixed Content

Insecure (HTTP) assets found on an HTTPS site

These typically relate to SEO, accessibility or quality of experience. They won’t break your site—but they can hurt your ranking or user trust if left unchecked.

Alert Tabs

At the top of the page, you can filter your view with:

  • Active Alerts – Alerts that still need action

  • Resolved Alerts – Alerts that were fixed (auto or manually)

  • Dismissed Alerts – Alerts you’ve manually ignored

  • Archived Alerts – Older alerts saved for audit history

Example Use Case

In the screenshot above:

  • 5 sites have failed their health checks – marked as Critical

  • 1 site has a pending core update – High

  • 3 sites show low-priority SEO-related alerts like Lighthouse or Sitemap issues

Use the View button to get context or Dismiss to remove noise once resolved.

Where Alerts Come From

Alerts are triggered by:

  • Health checks (performed daily)

  • Lighthouse reports (automated every 24h)

  • DNS, certificate and sitemap crawlers

  • Backup and restore operations

  • Manual site management activity

  • Alert Rules you’ve configured

Best Practices

  • Always resolve Critical Alerts first

  • Review High Alerts weekly to avoid surprises

  • Keep Low Alerts clean for better SEO and performance insights

  • Use Alert Rules (under Monitoring) to control how you’re notified

Varsuite Core gives you a single pane of glass to monitor the health and stability of your entire website fleet automatically sorted by urgency; so you always know where to focus first.
