Billing Dashboard

The Billing section in Varsuite Core gives you a clear overview of your current subscription, next payment date, trial status and the ability to pause or cancel your subscription.

Trial Period (28 Days)

Every new account begins with a 28-day free trial, during which:

  • You get full access to every feature, across all sites

  • No payment is taken during this time

  • All site plan changes (upgrades/downgrades) apply at the end of your billing period

  • The next payment date and amount are displayed for transparency


After Your Trial Ends

Once your 28-day trial finishes:

  • Your active site plans are billed monthly

  • You can still upgrade or downgrade any site plan at any time but doesn't reflect on the billing until the end of your billing period

  • Billing continues automatically via Paddle

  • Your invoice reflects the current configuration at the point of billing

You upgrade a plan → Features unlocked instantly → Prorated charge added to your current billing → New plan continues into the next cycle

DOWNGRADE SCENARIO

You downgrade a plan → No features removed yet → Downgrade queued → Current plan continues → New plan begins on next billing date

DURING FREE TRIAL

Any plan change → Instant switch → No charge taken → Free access continues until the end of 28 days

Example Scenarios

  • Still in trial: Upgrading a site to Freelance Pro applies instantly no charge until your trial ends.

  • Outside trial: Downgrading from Freelance Pro to Solo Starter keeps features until the next billing date, where the lower plan takes effect.

  • Mid-month upgrade: You pay a prorated amount and get new features immediately.


Managed by Paddle

All billing is securely handled via Paddle. This includes:

  • Payment method changes

  • Invoice history

  • VAT/Tax handling

  • Refund requests

  • Subscription receipts

Pause vs Cancel

You’ll also see two options for handling your subscription:
